Posthumous notes are found, durational poetry reading, Open Fields, Serial Space Gallery, Sydney, 2010
Posthumous notes are found is an early experiment in durational reading. An artist reads his poems continuously for 4 hours, at the entrance of the gallery, and then walks through its rooms, mixing with visitors and performers, until the ‘importance’ of the poems fade, and with it the author’s investment in them. After 4 hours, the artist joins another performer (Adam Lippmann) in a contrapuntal reading and piano recital.
