Ongoing research towards a poetic engagement with a hometown.
Since 2013, initially under the auspices of the Centre for Media Arts Innovation at UTS, Illimine has been developing an on-going project on the Italian border town of Bolzano-Bozen. At regular intervals members of Illimine organise a week of derives (with support of local historian Stefano Kerschbamer). This is our open air laboratory for thinking/walking/writing and developing practices.
A first ‘pilot’ installation from the project was developed for Contemplazioni/Contemplations, a solo exhibition at Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary, Trevi (PG), 3-25 October 2015.
